Cart.com Adds FB Flurry For Next Day US Delivery

E-commerce platform as a service Cart.com acquired FB Flurry order processing and customer service platform on Monday, January 10.

This partnership will provide Cart.com with enhanced marketing services, fast growing execution, customer service and operational capabilities.

FB Flurry distributes more than 35 million units of product each year from four distribution centers in Texas, Utah and New Jersey, using cutting-edge technologies to help customers with 50,000 product listings or plus, managing shipments valued at over $ 500 million per year for D2C brands.

It also offers 24-hour customer service from a 200-seat service center with smart routing as well as phone, chat, email and social media capabilities for brands.

“Their customer-centric and technology-driven approach to omnichannel support perfectly complements Cart.com’s powerful suite of end-to-end e-commerce tools and services. “

FB Flurry’s Application Programming Interface (API), the first order management system, enables rapid onboarding of new customers, innovative shipping and return options, real-time analytics and insight exploitable. The company also uses a proprietary warehouse management system that combines human knowledge and automation.

Cart.com will integrate FB Flurry’s capabilities into its network of logistics, customer service and operational support centers, including eight distribution centers that opened in 2021. This will triple Cart.com’s footprint to more of 2 million square feet, allowing next day delivery options for most US consumers.

The combined Cart e-commerce platform has processed more than $ 3 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) in the past 12 months. The more than 400 Flurry employees will join Cart.com as part of the deal.
