NJ man stole batteries from golf cart store, then sold them

A New Jersey man who was trying to earn a few dollars by stealing and then selling golf cart batteries has been jailed.

Monroe Township, Gloucester County police say Vincent J. Framo is the man believed to be responsible for entering a fenced area of ​​Mike’s Golf Carts on N. Black Horse Pike in the early morning of 4 February, then to take off with 25 batteries. he stole several golf carts.

Framo returned to the crime scene Wednesday evening, around 5:53 p.m., seated in a vehicle in front of the store, and eventually took off somewhere in the neighborhood.

Police spotted the vehicle and pulled over near the business and identified Framo as the driver.

There wasn’t enough evidence or evidence at that time to stop him.

While the investigation was ongoing, detectives were able to locate the stolen batteries from a Camden County junk yard and return them to the store.

Framo was later tracked down and arrested in Gloucester Township, later confessing to the theft, in addition to an earlier incident in Gloucester Township, while speaking with Monroe detectives.

As a result, a warrant was issued against Framo charging him with theft, criminal mischief, and trespassing.

After the arrest and treatment, Framo was taken to the Salem County Jail.
