Janice “Lucille” Cart passed away on July 16, 2022. She was born on April 14, 1948 in Akron, Ohio to the late Dolan and Gertrude Cottrill. Janice has been a lifelong resident of Barberton and attended Barberton Bible Holiness.
Predeceased by his parents; 38-year-old husband, Emmet “Bud”; son, D. Scott Cart
Surviving are his daughter, Linda (Darrell) Yoder, of Norton; daughter-in-law, Xiao Cart, of Norton; grandchildren, Darrell (Allyson) Yoder III, Tony (Stephanie) Yoder, Laura Yoder, Jacob Yoder, Sarah (Jasper) Jackson, Olivia (Caleb) Bray, Noah, Rebekah, Malachi, Luke, Rachal and Lainey Yoder, and Dominic , Emma and Kayla Cart; great-grandchildren, Darrell IV, Emmet, Eliza, Jeffrey, Clayton, Jedidiah, Solomon and Alexandria; brother, David (Faye) Cottrill; sisters, Kathy Miller and Deborah (George) Gerbig III; and her sister, Euginia (James) Armstrong, from whom she received loving care. Many people found refuge in the branches of his faith.
Family will receive friends on FRIDAY, July 22, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and SATURDAY, before the service, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Avenue, Barberton. Funeral services will be held SATURDAY at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jeral Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron.
